A 48 page report on the future growth of Peabody that was prepared for the Peabody Planning Board by Adams, Howard and Greely of Cambridge Massachusetts. The report was submitted in December of 1954.
Includes revision of zoning map, correction of street map to show all streets, survey and maps of existing conditions in regard to land use, public facilities, economic factors, population and trends and the planning problems needing to be tackled for the future.
The report details the prospects for future growth, the trends in residential development, trends in industry and business, problems with regard to the central district, requirements for community services, suggestions to control growth and estimations of population until 1970.
